This is the Sioux Steel 14GA Bottomless Stock Tank, 24' Diameter, 33" High, 9306 gallons.

NOTE: There is NO BOTTOM on this tank.

NOTE: Due to the rapidly changing prices of steel, it is possible that pricing may change on these products. While very unlikely, if that happens we will notify you immediately to see if you would still like to proceed with your order.

We do offer an optional liner - however, please note, this is a BLACK liner and is typically used for livestock watering or chemical containment applications. Our optional liner would not be suitable if you are converting this tank into a pool. The liner is square in shape and will have folds and creases when installed. If you plan on converting this tank into a pool, we recommend you purchase a pool liner from a pool store.

Please note, the sidewalls of this tank are water tight by default. A liner is completely optional. Most customers create a bottom by either installing a liner - or installing in wet concrete to create a concrete bottom - or even use bentonite clay to form the bottom of the tank.

Because of the water storage capacity, these tanks can compensate for the variable water output of windmill and solar panel systems, assuring an adequate supply of livestock water at all times. Livestock drink directly from bottomless stock tanks.

We offer two different types of clamps to hold a liner in place. The first option is a white PVC (plastic) clamp. This is typically used when converting this tank to a pool, or in livestock watering applications. The second, is a more industrial metal clamp, which is typically chosen when the tank is to be used in containment applications.

Features
  • Simple construction
  • Large capacity at comparatively low cost compared with other tanks
  • Can be constructed with on-farm labor
  • Serves as both a water storage and drinking device
  • 14 gauge galvanized steel sidewalls
  • Formed, 14 gauge flanged top is one piece, same as sidewall
  • Every seam has a single row of 5/8 hardware for superior strength

Installation Note: The wall panels have a 90 degree flange on one end, and the other end is straight. If you are installing this tank and using the PVC clamps, it is recommended you put the wall panels in place with the 90 degree flange on the BOTTOM. The PVC clamps work best on the side of the wall panel that is not bent 90 degrees.

If you are installing this tank and using the metal clamps, you can install the wall panels with the 90 degree flange on the top - or - the bottom of the wall panel. The metal clamp will fit on either end. (See picture below)
